Important Dates for the Summer

Just because school is out, that doesn’t mean Troop 224 will take a break. So don’t take a break from Scouting. Check out this list of activities.

June 4 – Final full Troop meeting for this school year. Next full Troop meeting is August 20.June 11 – Free Summer Camp physicals, review of crews, routes, and packing list. Summer Campers only.

June 18 – Initial Summer Camp pack inventory, including food. Summer Campers only.

June 25 – Final Summer Camp pack inventory, pack and boot impound. Summer Campers only.

June 29 (Friday) – Depart Grace Lutheran for Summer Camp. 6 PM

July 8 (Sunday) – Return to Woodland Elementary. ~ Noon

July 16, 23, 30, and August 6 – Swimming and Lifesaving Merit Badges, Oak Ridge Outdoor Pool, 6 PM. Bring $1.50 each session for admission.

August 13 – Planning Meeting at Grace Lutheran. 7 – 9 PM. Adult Leaders, Senior Patrol, and Patrol Leaders only.

August 20 – First Regular Meeting at Grace Lutheran. 7 – 8:30 PM

August 25 – Family gathering (tentative). Watts Bar barbecue and boating event.
